NEXT-GENERATION STROKE DIAGNOSIS

Transforming how strokes are diagnosed with StrokeDx

VISION

Boldly Transforming How Stroke Is Diagnosed With An Innovative, Rapid, And Portable Medical Device.

Our next-generation diagnostic technology continuously collects information as blood flows through your brain. Areas of too much or too little blood light up, letting doctors know what’s going on and how to fix it.

MISSION

Time is brain, and every minute that a stroke goes untreated millions of neurons die, contributing to the high rates of morbidity and mortality associated with stroke. Our goal at StrokeDx is to develop technology that reduces the time-to-treatment in stroke care.

Low-Cost, High-Accessibility Driven

Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines are huge and cost hundreds of thousands to millions of US dollars to purchase. Our sensors are small enough to be handheld, and cost a fraction of what CT and MRI cost, allowing for portable triage and diagnosis.

WHY StrokeDx

A Unique Approach To An Old Problem

Ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke have very different treatments, and mixing up the treatments can result in faster and additional brain death. Since we’ve never had neuroimaging aside from CT and MRI available for stroke triage, the current diagnostic paradigm requires hours of patient transport, waiting, scanning, and interpretation before treatment is initiated. The paradigm shift begins now with StrokeDx.
