PASADENA, Calif. - May 23, 2024 - StrokeDx, a pioneer in next-generation stroke technology, today announced the successful closing of $5 million in Series Seed Prime funding. The oversubscribed round was led by DigiTx Partners, with participation by Freeflow Ventures and other existing investors with extensive accomplishments across neuroradiology, stroke, and medical devices. David J. Kim, MD, Managing Director of DigiTx Partners, will be joining the board. To date, StrokeDx’s technology has raised almost $10 million, including a National Institutes of Health (NIH) R01 Grant. This latest investment will support further clinical validation of StrokeDx’s groundbreaking technology and the expansion of its commercial efforts.
StrokeDx specializes in developing advanced technologies and software to enable portable, non-invasive, non-radiating cerebrovascular monitoring. The company’s innovative approach offers a unique and highly precise method to survey strokes using next-generation technology developed by Shane Shahrestani, MD, PhD, at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
